Clear rates. Honest scope. No surpise billing.
$250 — 1 Specialist
$450 — 2 Specialists
Designed for door, entry, lock, hardware, alignment, or related issues that require professional troubleshooting before the proper repair can be determined.
Your service call includes up to 2 hours on premises for inspection, troubleshooting, and diagnosis.
If the problem can be properly repaired during the included service window using available parts/materials and without additional charges, the repair may be completed with customer approval.
Same-day repair is not guaranteed. The service-call fee is due on the date of service even when additional parts, work, or a return visit are required.
$350 — 1 Specialist
$550 — 2 Specialists
For businesses, offices, retail locations, commercial properties, and other professional facilities requiring door and entry diagnosis or service.
Includes up to 2 hours on premises for inspection, troubleshooting, and diagnosis.
When a repair can be properly completed within the included service window using available parts/materials and without additional charges, it may be completed with customer approval.
Starting at $400 — 1 Specialist
For schools, medical facilities, large commercial properties, multi-building facilities, and other locations requiring more complex access, coordination, or door and entry service.
Additional specialists, specialty equipment, access requirements, or facility-specific requirements may affect the final service cost.
When work extends beyond the included diagnostic/service window:
$100 per half hour — $200/hour equivalent
Labor is billed in half-hour increments, so customers are not automatically charged an entire additional hour when less time is required.
When an additional specialist or technician is required:
$75 per half hour — $150/hour equivalent
Additional personnel may be required because of door size or weight, equipment requirements, safety considerations, facility requirements, or the scope of work.
When the problem and scope of work are already known, a diagnostic service call may not be necessary.
Photos, measurements, door information, hardware information, or other details may be requested before scheduling. Shua Door & Entry will determine whether the work can be scheduled directly or whether an on-site diagnostic is needed.
Customers may provide approved parts/materials or request procurement through Shua Door & Entry.
Materials purchased by Shua Door & Entry are billed at the applicable job cost plus:
10% procurement fee — $25 minimum
Specialty equipment and lift rentals are billed at actual job cost plus applicable procurement.
Service requested after normal service hours, on weekends or holidays, or requiring emergency/priority scheduling may be subject to an additional service charge and adjusted labor rates.
After-hours availability is not guaranteed and must be confirmed by the office before scheduling.
I would not publish the old “$250 initial after-hours fee + $80/half hour” right now because it conflicts with the specialist rates you just established. Once you decide exactly what premium you want for after-hours work, we can lock that rate instead of accidentally publishing something too cheap.
Monthly and quarterly maintenance programs are available for qualifying commercial and institutional properties.
Programs may include door inspections, closer adjustments, panic/exit device checks, hardware inspection and adjustment, electric strike checks, accessibility-related door observations, and minor corrective maintenance.
Maintenance programs are customized based on property type, number of openings, equipment, service frequency, and facility requirements.
